We’re here to support our members that have been financially impacted by the federal government shutdown or the loss of federal nutritional benefits. Financial Resources for Chaffey FCU Members:

 

Skip-A-Pay*

Request a one-time Skip-A-Pay on your Chaffey FCU Credit Card, Auto Loan, or Personal Loan with the processing fee waived.

To ensure we process your request appropriately, please visit a branch or contact us to request your Skip-A-Pay instead of using the online application.

Limit of one (1) waived Skip-A-Pay fee per loan. Skip-A-Pays are still limited to six (6) total Skips for the life of the loan. Complete Skip-A-Pay details at chaffey.com/skip-a-pay.

 
 
 

Share Certificate Access*

Request an early withdrawal from your Chaffey FCU Share Certificate, without facing a penalty.

$500 No Credit Check Credit Card*

If you are losing access to valuable food resources due to the recent end of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, Chaffey FCU has financial resources to help you ensure you and your family still have access to food.

Contact our lending department directly at (833) 282 – 1033 (Extension 193 or 116), or submit a credit card application for a Chaffey FCU Visa Classic Credit Card and upload your SNAP verification and/or proof of federal employment in the documents section.

Limit of one (1) $500 Credit Card per Member. Approved applicants will receive a Visa Classic Credit Card with a credit limit of $500 and at a rate of 16.00% APR (Annual Percentage Rate); rate accurate as of 11/5/25.

 
 
 

W.I.S.E. Financial Coaching

All Chaffey FCU Members can access W.I.S.E. Financial Coaching services for free. If you or your family need additional tools for money management during this time, we encourage you to meet with a W.I.S.E. Financial Coach to get assistance. Our W.I.S.E. Financial Coaches can offer financial education, resources, and specialized tools to help you improve your finances.

 
 

*To qualify for Chaffey FCU Federal Government Shutdown Relief resources, you must prove current employment with the United States Federal Government, and/or receipt of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits that were actively being received for at least 1 month prior to November 1, 2025. You must have been a Chaffey FCU Member prior to the current Government Shutdown (10/1/2025).

  • Receipt of this notice does not mean you are not eligible for benefits; participants should continue to meet the required program reporting
